How to Walk Your Own 'Salt Path' Inspired by the New Film
Suppose the long-awaited release of the film adaptation of 'The Salt Path', on 30 May in the UK and Ireland, inspires you to embark on a walking journey along the South West Coast Path. In that case, Walkers' Britain can help you walk one – or more – sections of what is arguably one of England's most beautiful coastal routes.

Based on Raynor Winn's bestselling, award-winning memoir of the same name, 'The Salt Path' is a true story of love, determination, compassion, strength and pain, featuring Gillian Anderson and Jason Isaacs in the lead roles.

Filmed extensively on location, the dramatic coastlines of Southwest England are sure to shine in the movie and bring the breathtaking trail – currently England's longest footpath at 630 miles – and its landscapes to life.
To get a taste of the South West Coast Path yourself, Walkers' Britain offers eight different self-guided walking options from 7 to 14 days; all trips include luggage transfers, a navigational app and B&B accommodation in charming hotels and guesthouses.

The most popular section, from St Ives to Penzance, is also available this year as part of Walkers' Britain's new 'Taste of' range, a curated collection of walking holidays ideal for those seeking bucket-list experiences without the time commitment (the trips are no more than 6 days long).

The NEW! A Taste of Cornwall on Foot follows the South West Coast Path with a carefully crafted itinerary that features shorter distances and focuses on comfort and character, with handpicked accommodations offering a touch of local style. The 6-day trip departs daily from 1 April until 20 October, from £770 per person.

In total, Walkers' Britain offers more than 75 distinct itineraries across the British Isles and, in response to customer demand, it continues to offer active breaks to some of Europe's premier destinations such as Mont Blanc and the Mediterranean Coast.
