The Six Launches Private Aviation Experiences from North-West England

Launching from Liverpool and Manchester in 2027, THE SIX will offer fully hosted private aviation experiences for just six passengers at a time, allowing guests to book individual places rather than charter an entire aircraft. Its first departure will take guests to Champagne for a private house tour, cellar tastings and lunch at the five-star Royal Champagne Hotel & Spa, returning home the same day.

THE SIX is a new luxury travel brand launching in 2027 from Liverpool John Lennon Airport and Manchester Airport’s private terminal, offering fully hosted, one-day private aviation experiences. Each journey is carefully curated to make the day feel as memorable as the destination itself, combining private travel with carefully chosen food, drink and experiences from departure to return.
Guests will be able to book in twos, fours or sixes rather than chartering an entire aircraft, with all six places giving a private group exclusive use. THE SIX will curate each journey in full, including flights, transfers, dining and experiences at the destination.
The first departure will take guests to France’s Champagne region aboard a private aircraft, with a flight time of around 90 minutes. Guests will be chauffeured to a leading Champagne house for a privately guided tour and cellar tastings, followed by lunch at the five-star Royal Champagne Hotel & Spa before returning home that evening. Priced at £3,495 per person, the experience includes return private flights, chauffeured transfers, the Champagne house tour and tastings, lunch and Champagne before departure.
By allowing guests to book individual places, THE SIX is designed to give more travellers access to private aviation without requiring them to charter an entire aircraft, while retaining the convenience, privacy and service associated with private flying.
Further journeys are in development, including the Isle of Islay for golf and whisky, Paris for Valentine’s Day, Saint-Tropez during the summer and Ibiza. Bespoke journeys will also be available for private groups celebrating occasions such as milestone birthdays, anniversaries or corporate rewards. Aviation Experiences from North-West England

THE SIX was founded by Duncan Falconer, who began his career in hospitality at The Chester Grosvenor Hotel before moving into aviation. He is now a commercial pilot flying Boeing 787s for a UK airline.
The business is backed by investor Jason Bligh, who first met Falconer more than 20 years ago when they worked together at The Chester Grosvenor. Bligh has since built a career across hospitality and business ventures.
Duncan Falconer, Founder of THE SIX, comments:
“Through my career in aviation, I kept coming back to the same question: why does experiencing private air travel have to mean chartering an entire aircraft?
“The idea for THE SIX came from seeing how much private aviation can change the experience of a short trip. We wanted to create a way for guests to book a place on the aircraft, while we take care of every detail around the journey, creating an unforgettable experience from the moment they arrive at the private terminal to the time they return home.”
Liverpool and Manchester were chosen as THE SIX’s launch bases to give travellers across Merseyside, the North West and the wider North of England direct access to the service without having to travel to London first.

Jason Bligh, investor in THE SIX, comments:
“There is a strong luxury market across Liverpool, Manchester, Cheshire and the wider North, but a significant amount of premium travel still centres on London.
“THE SIX gives us the opportunity to create something from Liverpool and Manchester that combines Duncan’s aviation experience with a strong hospitality-led approach. The flight is an important part of the experience, but so is everything that happens around it.”
