Visit the Met this summer

An exciting month of must-see exhibitions and events is underway at The Met. Exhibition New York highlights include Leonardo Da Vinci's Saint Jerome, featuring the artist's unfinished painting Saint Jerome Praying in the Wilderness, on loan from the Vatican Museums and opening July 15; Apollo's Muse: The Moon in the Age of Photography, a fascinating survey celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing with visual representations of the moon from the dawn of photography through the present, opening July 3; and, at The Met Breuer, Oliver Beer: Vessel Orchestra, opening July 2, with live performances on Friday evenings. Australian cabaret legend Kim David Smith is also performing this month—an evening of works inspired by all things lunar, in conjunction with the Apollo's Muse exhibition.
